When I saw this post regarding the Trump Administration's "Peace Plans" show up on my Facebook memories, I couldn't help but think, "Wow, 5 years on and this is still a relevant topic. Think of what this world has seen in these 5 years."

Have a look at my words on the topic from January 29, 2020:

"I am beginning to read the Trump Administration "Peace Plan" and I have to say it will create some interesting reactions. It is clear this is not written like a political solution. Though politics are clearly at play here, this is a business solution, that they hope will lead to a political one.

It calls out hamas as terrorists, finally, and it also puts the opposition in the place of being on the outside looking in. They, in essence, would be left behind assuming all other parties get the ball rolling.
 
What they cannot see is the problem for which they cannot plan, i.e. the spiritual side of the conflict. Not the religious one, but rather the ideological one which is not of this world. There are far too many who hate Israel, because they hate Jews. They hate Jews, because it is the never ending war against God and His people. That's not to say this latest attempt isn't serious. I would say it is more serious than anything that has ever been attempted to this day.

Now, for those thinking this is a start of the Seal Judgments of Revelation 6, I don't believe that for a minute. I don't think Trump, or anyone in his sphere, is Antichrist material. But I will go as far as to say when that guy shows up, and unveils a plan, in my opinion, it may look very much like this. He may even be the guy who carries this one over the finish line, ultimately."

I had the pleasure of joining Kyle Peart of Once Lost Ministries for an in-depth discussion breaking down the key distinctives of Calvary Chapel.

In the episode, we had a chance to tackle Calvary Chapel’s stance on the gifts of the Holy Spirit—a topic that has sparked debate among believers for centuries.

+ Are all spiritual gifts active today, or did some cease with the apostles?
+ How does Calvary Chapel balance openness to the Spirit’s work while avoiding the chaos of hyper-charismatic movements?
+ Should gifts like tongues and prophecy be more visible in services, or is there a biblical reason why they are not emphasized?

We were also able to address common objections, such as:
1) Is a belief in the empowering of the Spirit creating "two classes" of Christians?

For many it was too soon to get onto a trip for the Spring time this year, so we have moved the date to the fall and have secured the dates of October 20th-November 1st, 2025.

This trip is one day longer than our normal trip, and the National Park Service has opened all sites for travel from Dan to Be'er Sheva. The trip will be 11 days of actual touring of sites, so travel is added time. If you have never been, or even if you have, we see a number of places most groups do not see.

We have had this in planning since 2023, but for obvious reasons we have moved it, awaiting resolution to the hostilities. Now, since things are looking promising, I wanted to notify those who may have interest that we are going. This gives you plenty of notice to request time off for the trip and make any other arrangements. I'm sure there is a lot of information that people may want regarding the trip, head over to the contact page to email me directly.
 
Having been there a number of times, I can say there is nothing like it, and this trip is life changing. If you are concerned about deposits and the security of those deposits, please contact me and I can put your mind at ease. Also know, we will not take the trip if there are security concerns, and the agency we use is very flexible about that, as it accounts for matters beyond our control.

When we read the Psalms most often we think of David writing poetry, or giving tanks to God, and he does. There are, however, many other topics of discussion and ways to consider the content of the Psalms. There are writers other than David who contributed greatly to this book.

I recently had the opportunity to be on Stand Up For The Truth with my good friend Mary Danielsen. We looked at the topic of the Psalms, beyond it being a book of the Bible. We discussed the interesting and distinct attributes it has, unlike any other book in the Bible.

This topic is one which raises eyebrows among many people. The two words are closely related, but can mean vastly different things. For instance, prophets whom The Lord sent in times past often had unique things to tell those hearing them. Israel and Judah are the most obvious examples as God sent many to both groups and also did before they split into the Northern and Southern kingdoms.

There were also times when God would speak through people heralding that events previously foretold were occurring before their eyes, in real time. Peter was one such example among many as He quoted, in detail, from the prophet Joel in Acts chapter 2:17-21. The quote was from Joel chapter 2:28-32a and Peter quotes that passage to let the world know God was making this prophecy come to pass before them and said it would continue until The Day of The Lord, which is significant in and of itself, but that is another story.

Jesus had a similar occasion to quote a prophet when He read from Isaiah 61:1-2a, which is recorded in Luke 4:18-19. So precise was His reading of that passage that he interrupted the passage because He was there for the first part of the prophecy, but would not fulfill the next part until some time future to our days, though that day seems closer by the day. Let's compare the two passages.

Jesus quotes this:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Notice what is said in Isaiah 61:1-2
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,

As we read further from Luke's account we see that Jesus added these words.
Luke 4:20-21
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

So for today, the "prophets", so called, whom we see in some parts of the church are not impressive when they step outside of what has been spoken by God already in His word. We can see plenty of events which fit in the prophetic timeline and point them out. That does not make one a prophet, it simply requires someone who takes God's word seriously and rightly applies God's word to events. There is not a need to put dates on events, until those events happen. It would not have taken a prophet to quote any number of passages when Israel was once again sovereign in their land, they would only need to quote what God promised He would do in restoring them in ancient times.

It is with that in mind that we need to be careful to see when God speaks of matters with no historical fulfillment, and know they must yet be future. Even those who do not subscribe to Biblical prophecy admit the world as we know it will not last indefinitely. So, if they admit The Lord will return at some future time, they do so because it has been foretold.

Israel has a major role in our world today and will continue to have one until The Lord's return. These are two topics I covered at a recent prophecy conference in Appleton Wisconsin and below are the videos of those presentations.

Don’t look now, but the European Union is partnering with the World Health Organization to begin the implementation of what they call a “Digital Health Initiative” and they have plenty of other ways to describe and title what is, in essence, a digital passport for the next time a public health issue happens. All of this will be rolled out as a way to keep people safe, and it is billed as being for the greater good.

The UE and WHO organization proved with COVID that they are a terrible option when it comes to public health, but governments all over the world proved to be completely inept. Some do not see it as inept at all, but a trial run for a great suppression of people’s ability to freely move about the world. What happens if a person would not comply with what is needed to get such a digital passport? What about nations that would not want to participate? The answer is those who will not comply will be frozen out of what would be normal freedom of movement.

As with most bits of news I show, it is always with an eye on the world we know is coming, if we take literally what Scripture teaches.

Have you heard of the 15-minute city? This is something many are not familiar with, in concept, but if you live in high population areas you have likely noticed those places where housing is building upward, and the bottom floor is comprised of stores and businesses. They are seen as convenient and part of a larger movement that is intended to replace existing land with housing within 15 minutes walking distance of any needed services. I watched it being implemented in locations in Southern California when property was repurposed and developed. We are seeing it here in Texas as well, in places it does not really seem to be in demand.  

What is behind this, you may ask? I would refer you to the website and it will all make sense, at least for those wondering what possesses people to conceptualize these societal changes. As with so much in culture and public policy, it is part of the green agenda, and they have no problem making that abundantly clear.  As the Green movement advances radical changes in the day-to-day life of people, there needs to be questions asked about who decides and who oversees the planning. As of this time, in our country, these policies are being implemented from the highest office in the land. The administration champions such things and has goals that are fantasy but will cause real disruption if they ever see full implementation.

This way of living is one of countless examples of where we are heading. It is also another example of how powerful people can control the masses; which is an interesting twist when we consider this as an eschatological matter in its control of people.

It is hard to believe we have slid this far, this fast. In my former state of residence, the celebration of perversion is also spilling over into legal matters and how children are to be handled in custody disputes. I have read more than a few accounts of parents embroiled in bitter custody matters over this farce that gender is a matter of feelings over biology. One parent does not want this lie to be accepted in their child’s life, and the other does.

This law, if implemented would give favor to the parent affirming this evil, assuming all things being equal with the parents. How it fully plays out on a case-by-case basis would be something to watch when such cases are heard. To me, though, the bigger concern is how society is shifting in favor of something so absurd, the damage of which is yet to be realized and we may never really know how devastating this will be to those trapped in this lie.

There are few places on the planet with more intrigue than the nation of Israel. Don’t get me wrong, we visit there annually, if there is opportunity, but because of the spiritual significance of the land it will always be a location with much contention. I ran across this article recently and what it describes is highly contentious. Though a division of the Temple Mount may not be carried out next week, it will happen eventually, it has to be.  

Scripture tells us that a Temple is going to be built and it will be at the location somewhere close to the one Jesus would have seen. The proposal is to obtain the property to the North of the buildings which are of interest to Muslims. This has nothing to do with anything other than hatred of the Jewish people, since this place did not mean all that much to Muslims until a Jewish State was established in the middle of the last century.    

The article shows the anger that the likely suspects would have over such a proposal, while at the same time demonstrating that matters of great interest are taking place in our world, and in Israel as a whole. So that the article will make sense, here is an aerial view of the Temple Mount.

Such articles are not really news, since we are treated to this insanity each day. Neutral pronouns, nonsensical self identification, celebrating deviancy, reverse racism, and the overall dumbing down of society is the norm and no longer the exception. Here is one such example of the countless ones we see all day every day. The larger picture to the student of the Bible is to know these things are significant, given the days in which we live. Where there is no standard, there is no truth. Everyone can do what is right in their own eyes. The other troubling part is now, for the first time, those who insist on common sense and who will not buy in to this new reality are seen as the problem and the obstacle which needs to be defeated. Just 10 years ago I think we would have laughed at this absurd cultural shift, but now we are on the defensive, if we hold to traditional views. Matters of gender, that skin color should be a neutral matter, sexual orientation or identification or even what makes a person a citizen of the country to which they belong. These were, in times past, not controversial. Well, not any longer, sad to say.

There are some in Israel who believe that David and his son, Solomon, were not the world powers they are described to be. Some would even question they existed as Scripture records. But, as with all such beliefs of the secular type, just hold on and things will become more clear. In this article, David is mentioned by a foreign nation and king, and the item in question has been around for quite some time. What is so exciting to see is how God is opening the eyes of His people, Israel, which is precisely what I would expect in our times.

We have been showing articles more and more which give evidence that such things are occurring. If you take the view that much of the scripture tells of future events, and those events include Israel as the primary focus, we should expect to see such news to be common. We need to be praying God continues to open the eyes of His people, while we pray for the larger world to know Jesus.

This is one of countless articles I can cite that points to an infinitely larger matter. In this report there is trouble between those green energy people and the far more radical environmentalists. Ironically it is the most extreme members of the environmentalist movement that know going to electric everything will damage the environment far worse than any fossil fuel over could. They are saying what we all should know, and that is the damage cause by the mining of these minerals is astronomical and the disposal of the waste near and long term is beyond measure.

What they do not say out loud is that having all forms of transportation dependent on electricity is unmanageable, impractical and will require government oversight as we have never seen. One only needs to look at California and they will see it is impossible to have an all electric fleet of vehicles. What should be asked is why they would pursue something so demonstrable impossible?

With the new government of Benjamin Netanyahu in place, we would expect provocations from his enemies. They will show, early on the extent of the resolve of his governing coalition and also give reason for their propaganda. Be reminded as you read these types of stories that Israel is reacting to events and not initiating them. This article, however, shows a total lack of understanding in that refers to the "West Bank" as being "occupied". I don't expect them to know this is the land given to them by God, but that is a spiritual matter beyond what the WSJ writer can understand. It also makes the faulty conclusion that the leaders in the PA "work closely" with Israel. Their is their public face and then there is their other that does not get press coverage.

There is no greater single exhibit I could offer of where in are in time than Israel. Since being gathered back in land and becoming a sovereign nation in 1948, they have been a fascination, if you view them as a creation of God's handiwork, as an indicator of where we are prophetically.

Here are a few articles to demonstrate the points and they has global implications. Immediately upon taking office Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the expansion of settlements in territories that have long been controversial in Judea and Samaria. It started the likely response from other countries and the UN.

The left flank of their politics is quite similar to ours here in the US and all the same accusations and slogans are used there a here. Calling them fascists, homophobes and all other tied and true accusations and titles. Of course, everything happening in Israel will be debated among the elites in many nations and organizations.

Even the media wants to find things to hang on the Prime Minister and in an ironic twist, there are those in Israel who are troubled over a phone call between Benjamin Netanyahu and Volodymyr Zelensky. Hopefully the Prime Minister can look at the history of phone calls with him and be careful.

In short, there is so much happening there and the next few months will be fascinating to watch as many new policies will begin to roll out in Israel.

By now most of us have heard reports about ChatGPT and the technology of Artificial intelligence. Depending on who you ask the objection vary from person to person. Some say people will be able sound more informed than they are, and if it is used in a resume, what you see is not what you may get. Others do not like the fact that it makes direct communication and reasoning more or less unnecessary. The fact remains, it is not really Ai, in that it simply performs algorithmic searches of desired and requested information.

My two biggest concerns are the sources used to form the paper and who is promoting and looking to invest in it. Here is an article to answer one the question regarding one of the companies wanting to invest and develop the technology. We know there is already bias in the news and this "AI" is using biased sources, so there will never be any reliable or impartial information produced. That is if you know how to read for bias, and maybe that is the plan all along, but who knows.

Here is a link to an example of the absurdity of what can be requested and the bias that is found when using this resource. The fact that Israel is in the topic makes it that much more interesting. This is basically the common understanding of the conflict there.

This should not be a matter of who is in office, or running cover for one religious group over another. Yet, like so many such topics, the ideology of who is in charge matters more than the facts on the ground. How is this allowed to take place in Nigeria, with nothing being said or done by the powers that be in America or Europe. The answer is obvious and the article explains it in detail.

To make maters worse, the people who should be sounding the alarm about the dangers of Islamic groups wants the world to agree that Israel is the threat to human rights.

A Word of Encouragement

I know the content of our newsletters, because we look a things in a snapshot in time, can be a little heavy. I am one who looks at the world with interest given to how these events affect the church and those of us who make up that body. Because of that I would like to encourage all of us in saying that no matter what is happening at any given time in history, the promises found in God's Word to those who seek Him, are timeless. They are encouraging and they are uplifting because they transcend this earthly existence and reach into the eternal.

I am reminded of passages like this:

6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Paul here quotes Isaiah 64 and it is there set out as a prayer for God to come and restore. Paul is able to use it and remind us that we speak of mysteries revealed to us, in that we have come to know things beyond imagination to those before Jesus made Himself known to us. The believer rests in the knowledge that God has made Himself known, intimately, to those who love Him. It is in that truth that we are able to look at a world which does not understand us, is hostile to our worldview, and seems bent on destruction. In some instances we see the world and it's people actively seeking their own destruction, though, in Jesus, hope is what is offered to this world.

We then realize we are not of this world, as Jesus says in John 17. The day will come when we are gathered to Him and all will be made whole and the Creator and His creation will be restored. This is what separates the believer from the unbeliever when looking at our world. Our hope in beyond this place and we await our gathering to Him with excitement and expectation, using what He provides for us to make Him known while we are here.
Be encouraged.

Are the Biblical End Times Upon Us?
(from the December 2022 Newsletter)

The quick takeaway from this is that people sense things are wrong, but have little understanding of the topic. This means they have heard the term discussed, perhaps, but there has not been a serious look at the topic personally.

The internals show this with some pretty off replies by those polled:

“Of the 47% of Christians who believe humanity is living in the end times, 20% said Jesus will return to earth and the “world situation will worsen until then,” with an additional 27% stating they believe in the end of days but not in that particular dynamic.“

What is troubling is how much the Bible speaks on the topic, but a low number of those who identify as Christians do not have even a basic understanding of the timeline clearly shown in Scripture.

How can a church be most easily defeated and rendered useless in God’s hand. Convince the people, through the “leaders” that Scripture is not pure, perfect, without error and completely authoritative on all matters of faith and practice, that’s how.

This article gets into the numbers and with each successive such poll, the numbers continue to move in the wrong direction. This can be viewed a couple ways: Fear and uncertainty going forward for the church, or the one I hold which is, we are right on schedule, the church will be a remnant when Jesus returns for His bride.

Benjamin Netanyahu warns of new 'pernicious' form of antisemitism, reveals behind-the-scene details of Middle East peace deals with Donald Trump, being 'disrespected' by Barack Obama in wide-ranging Glenn Beck interview

I am one who believes in the Bible’s ability to give specific details of future events, or what we call prophecy. I don’t mean the unbiblical modern prophets type of stuff, but events Scripture mentions about our days and near future events. The nations mentioned (Iran/Persia) here have a history with Israel but Russia, not so much. Ezekiel in chapter 38 mentions them, but their historical name.

What is of importance is Netanyahu’s assertion that Antisemitism is on the rise and it isn’t hard to find, as he points it out. He, in my opinion, is the right man at the right time for Israel. We know that Israel has been given promises which are still future, and them being back in the land, after 1900 years of displacement is no accident, it was promised.

This is always a great indicator of where we are in time and what is happening in Israel and what are nations doing regarding her. Genesis 12:3 is a promise, with no shelf life.

CDC quietly confirms at least 118k Children & Young Adults have Died Suddenly’ in the USA since the roll-out of the COVID Vaccines

No matter what people believe about the effectiveness of the vaccines, there is no dispute that the world was not told what could happen as to potential risks from this experimental gene therapy. People tend to believe their medial professionals, especially one with whom you have history.

We were not told to be cautious, since there was no way to do any trials before this was given worldwide, and we are just now starting to see reports that illustrate how bad of an idea this was against COVID.

I fully realize saying such things means I would be accused of “misinformation” but numbers don’t lie, politicians and bureaucrats do. This article is one of hundreds that can be cited, for one of many concerns we should have. Mandates, people losing their livelihoods because they refused a medical procedure. And when your DNA can be altered, it is a medical procedure.

There is no need to go to conspiracy theories, when actual evidence proves the last 3 years have been many things, but good public health policy is not among them, and it seems, in some ways deliberate.

UN Declaration Calls for as Much as $10 Trillion a Year to Meet Climate Targets

This article gives plenty of details on what is intended by the United Nations, as well as groups like the WEF. 2030 is the target date for all of this insanity, and if you have never looked at Agenda 2030, it is worth looking at and you will find it is very much like the Great Reset proposed by the WEF.

“Green Energy” sounds great, but as the saying goes, the devil is in the details. Look at the amounts being discussed in this article and imagine the way it would change everyday life for all people, worldwide. The idea of “zero emissions” is not only impossible, it is dangerous. Green plants need Co2 in order to product oxygen. The people in charge must know this, and yet they persist.

Finally, the idea of wind and solar sound great, as long as there is a constant, stable supply of wind and solar. Not to mention the land mass needed to replace fossil fuels is beyond comprehension. There are plenty of articles and video you can witch or read which shows how ridiculous this idea really is. One thing which is never mentioned is the amount of breakdown there is in this, especially wind. Turbines and blades do not last forever, and rare earth minerals are needed for solar panels, which also do not last forever.

Given all of this, it begs the question, why the push for something so costly and so inefficient? There is much more to this than meets the eye.
